長沼 大樹 /  Hiroki Naganuma /  Engineer
Hiroki Naganuma was born in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan in 1994. He is a master student in Department of Computer Science, Tokyo Institute of Technology and a student fellow of IBM Research in Japan. He specializes in high-performance computing (HPC) and large-scale parallel computing, especially for large scale parallelization and high speeding technologies for Artificial Intelligence. He was adopted as the first Japanese researcher in the Undergradutates Program of the top international conference for HPC “Supercomputing Conference (SC)”, and as a scholarship student in the Son Masayoshi Foundation. He won the prizes in many domestic and foreign Hackathon events including JPHACKS 2016, Mashup Award 2016 student Division, Imagine Cup Japan qualifying, 2025 Japan World Expo Committee Digital Creative Department in 2017, Stanford Health Hackathon in 2017, Art Hack Day in 2018 and so on.

原田 誠史 /  Masafumi Harada /  Engineer
Masafumi Harada was born in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan in 1996. He is a bachelor student who studies Microbial Bioinformatics. He belongs to Systems Biology Project, Keio University SFC in Japan and also a member of the international consortium “MetaSUB” that researches the relationship between urban environment and microbe. He won the prizes at Art&Technology Tohoku 2015, G-Supernova Hackathon, the science intercollegiate event “SCIENCE-INKALE 2017” in Japan, Art Hack Day in 2018 and so on.

福澤 貴之 /  Takayuki Fukusawa /  Artist
Takayuki Fukusawa was born in Tokyo Prefecture, Japan in 1984. He graduated from Department of Interior Design, Tokyo Municipal KOGEI (Industrial Arts) High School in 2003, Department of Fine Arts, Nihon University College of Art in 2007, and worked at a housing company as a designer. He established his own company “ekoD Works” in 2012, that produces furniture and toys, plans and develops Art-related projects. The business principle is making a world full of “humorous art and design”. He works diligently at daily intrigue through his design and art works as intermediators in order to connect people to people, and people to things. He won the awards at Zank & Mars in NY Award in 2011, eco & art Award in 2012, International Illustration Competition of Japan in 2013, ZAKKA AWARDS in 2014 and 2015, CREATIVE HACK AWARD in 2016, Art Hack Day in 2018 and so on. http://ekodworks.com

堀 修生 / Osao Hori / Sound designer
Osao Hori was born in Wakayama Prefecture, Japan in 1985. He graduated from Department of Sound Design in Cinema, Graduate School of Film and New Media, Tokyo University of the Arts in 2013. He worked at an audio post production as an audio mixer and he is now a sound designer for films and commercials as a freelancer. His theme is to enhance the view of the world through sound. He won the prize at Art Hack Day in 2018.

山本 景子 / Keiko Yamamoto / Researcher
Keiko YAMAMOTO was born in Okinawa Prefecture, the southernmost island in Japan. She graduated from Department of Systems Innovation in Graduate School of Engineering Science, Osaka University. She was an assistant researcher of PRESTO sakigake in JST Strategic Basic Research Programs and a Research Fellowship for Young Scientists in Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. She got a Ph.D. of Engineering from Osaka University. She is now an assistant professor in Faculty of Information and Human Sciences, Kyoto Institute of Technology (KIT), and a teacher in Kyoto Saga University of Arts. She has acquired research fundings from Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research “KAKENHI” in Japan Society for the Promotion of Science and has been conducting researches on Human-Computer interaction, especially interfaces for creaters and learners, estimating emotion from user's behavior. She has also deep interest in design education for university students. She was a project leader of Student Program of Overseas Survey about the differences of Design Education between the UK and Japan, supported by Osaka University in 2008. She has classes for developing leadership as Tech Leader in the bachelor’s course and master’s course in KIT. She won the award of the journal of the Society for Art and Science in 2008, awards from Information Processing Society of Japan and Human Interface Society in 2013, and Grand Prize in Art Hack Day in 2018.

油井 俊哉 /  Toshiya Yui /  Engineer
Toshiya Yui was born in Nagano Prefecture, Japan in 1993. He is a master student in School of Fundamental Science and Engineering, Waseda University in Japan. He has produced some research works of Tangible User Interfaces (TUI) and mechanical devices with Animacy Perception. He exhibited a tipping device for street performers “BUBBLY” in 2016 SXSW, and a floating TUI based on Animacy Perception “floatio” in Media Ambition Tokyo 2017. He won the awards at the domestic conference for human computer interaction “Interaction2016”, the 22nd Campus Genius Award in 2016, the 6th Waseda University Application Contest in 2017, Art Hack Day in 2018 and so on.
